There is a frightening/alarming growth in the rate of poverty, poor hygiene, unemployment of women and youth, inequality and unhealthy situation in most of the communities in our country which requires urgent and appropriate attention to avoid resultant insecurity, to reduce the rate of poverty, unemployment, health pandemic effect on the populace and equality among the citizens of this country.
It is worth nothing that the increase in the rate of poverty among women and youth, insecurity, health challenges, environmental degradation and above all inequality has become the norm of the day in our country. In fact, most of the families in our country cannot boast of three (3) square meals, sending their children or wards to school due to poverty, insecurity and inability to have access to primary health care facilities and services as well as unequal treatment among male and female citizens.
The above identified challenges/problems constitute a major hindrance for the development of any nation. In an attempt to solve these problems, there is need for urgent and effective intervention of a reputable organization like yours (…………………………………). Your intervention will go a long way to reduce the rate of poverty among women and youth, unemployment, poor sanitization, morbidity and mortality rate, insecurity and inequality among the citizens of theses country. In addition, the incidence rate of rape or sexual Based and Gender Violence (SGBV) in the country is alarming and quite worrisome. The startling revelation that the victims or survivors are largely underage and teenage girls. Hardly can you scan through a daily new paper in Nigeria without finding an incidence of rape reported, but even then, the incidence is being grossly underreported. This is because the fact remains that a large percentage of rape and SGBV cases are never reported due to the fear of stigma and ignorance.
There is growing awareness of the links between sexual and gender-based violence, health, human rights and national development in Nigeria. However, there are few programmes that simultaneously address the determinants and consequences of SGBV in an integrated and comprehensive manner, with responses being implemented separately by the NGO and public sectors, and by separate line ministries within the states and local governments. In addition to this, few guidelines or frameworks exist to guide policy makers and programme managers in developing and implementing the comprehensive response necessary to address the health and criminal justice consequences of violence, and to reduce the determinants of violent behavior within communities.
It is on this premise that NUHU FATIMOH FOUNDATION (NUFAT) with vast experience in humanitarian services, Primary Health Care Services, women and youth empowerment programmes, poverty alleviation, peace and security, conflict resolution, environmental hygiene and gender equality is willing to collaborate with ………………………………. if the grant we are requesting is approved. This will be achieved through:

- After analysis of the baseline assessment, different groups with the same mindset will be clustered to form economic and empowerment group.
- Community-based prevention strategies that are relevant and appropriate for the local context and that are directly linked to the nearest medical/health facilities structures.
- To require life skill based acquisition for below the poverty line citizens through vocational education.
- Medical management and provision of accessible, available and affordable primary health care services.
